Who We Are
US Lighting Consultants opened its offices in New York City in 1992. A small lighting design firm, we have experience in many areas of lighting design and specialize in commercial work, including multi-purpose and conference centers, office, retail mixed-use, entertainment, and hospitality projects.
What We Do
We have successfully undertaken a variety of projects, including lighting solutions for retail and residential complexes of varying sizes, such as shopping centers, corporate headquarters, as well as smaller establishments like intimate restaurants, clubs, and boutiques.
While many of our projects are new developments, a great many involve renovation or adaptive reuse. This gives us the opportunity to update sources and control systems to improve energy-efficiency and maintainability, while prioritizing architecture, aesthetics and design intent. We pride ourselves on developing elegant, practical solutions.
The USL Team
Our project team consists of designers with architectural, theatrical and lighting and energy-management expertise. We have been successful in working on international projects by using a collaborative approach with other design professionals, who assist us in achieving the most practical solutions to project challenges.
